About me

Eight years of working in marketing has brought me from Dublin to Madrid, Zurich and now Berlin. After leaving my previous employer and having finished my travels, I am currently seeking new opportunities.

I specialise in CRM, however I have expanded my skill set to encompass the entire online marketing spectrum. With my native English writing skills, strong technical knowledge and years of experience, I believe I could be a valuable asset to like minded companies.

Work Experience

iMusician Digital AG
Zurich, Switzerland / Berlin, Germany
January 2014 – May 2017

Online Marketing Manager

Spanning two countries and three and a half years, my role in this online music distributor changed with the needs of this quickly growing start-up.

  1. I designed multiple system mails, newsletters, revenue driving lifecycle mails and promotional mails which were sent using various integrated CRM tools. This resulted in 50,000 marketing mails being sent each month for little to no cost.
  2. I managed the corporate design and identity of iMusician’s online presence, including the design of the frontend website, new products, weekly blog content and social media.
  3. I managed a team of four country managers as well as external freelancers by setting goals and projects in order to meet company growth targets.
  4. For my final year I headed the marketing team, analysed weekly and monthly KPIs and delegated marketing tasks. During this period the investors’ target of 6% MOM revenue growth was successfully achieved. Overall, during the period I worked there revenue grew 1000% solely due to marketing efforts. This left the company on the brink of profit for the first time since external investment was made.

Goodbeans GmbH
Berlin, Germany
October 2011 – May 2013

CRM Marketing Manager

As the CRM Marketing Manager of gaming startup Goodbeans GmbH, I concentrated on email marketing but also had other duties across the online marketing spectrum.

  1. From conception to final delivery, all mails (lifecycle/promotions/newsletters) were developed self-sufficiently using Photoshop for image construction with personally devised marketing text and coded into HTML to be delivered to the target market using Experian’s MailSolution.
  2. Performance analysis involved monitoring mail KPIs and optimising content in order to improve the final return on investment across ten different markets. I successfully increased open and click through rates from the opening month’s newsletter’s figures of 8.25% and 14.89% to highs of 15.46% and 23.38% respectively.
  3. I also managed the premium and network display advertising adserver for gaming platform Panfu.
  4. On top I managed website content of goodbeans.com using WordPress.

Freelance Marketing Consultant

I gained many freelance marketing roles during the course of my final year study commitments.

  1. I constructed Nasctech’s business plan to be submitted to Enterprise Ireland and developed a marketing report identifying channels to market in several territories.
  2. I redesigned the website of KDS Security with the aim of improving visitor bounce rates and search engine optimisation. For the latter task I successfully achieved the target of appearing on the first page of google.ie for 6 separate search terms.
  3. I acted as an online marketing consultant for Newsaccess Ltd. This role involved managing a Google Adwords campaign for the company as well redesigning underperforming areas of their website.
  4. I was also an online marketing and SEO consultant for Northern Irish firms Lightstep Technologies Ltd and Piotech Ltd (now Mectron Ltd).
